Infrared Sauna: Experience Wellness
Health Benefits
Infrared saunas are growing in popularity for their impressive health benefits, backed by decades of research.
Relieve Pain & Aches
Infrared heat penetrates deep into muscle tissue, reducing pain, stiffness, and inflammation caused by conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, and injuries. Dr. Jeffrey Spencer highlights its role in boosting blood flow and oxygen for faster healing.
Boost Immunity
Infrared saunas mimic a natural fever, helping your body fight infections and enhance immune function. Early use during colds or flu can stop symptoms before they start.
Detoxify Naturally
FIR (Far Infrared) heat promotes sweating to safely eliminate toxins like heavy metals, reducing strain on the liver and kidneys.
Improve Circulation
Infrared therapy increases heart rate and blood flow, accelerating recovery for muscles and joints by delivering oxygen and flushing toxins.
Support Weight Loss
A single session can burn up to 600 calories as the body heats up and sweats, promoting fat loss and reducing cellulite.
Rejuvenate Skin
Sauna use enhances blood flow, delivering nutrients for healthier, glowing skin while gently cleansing it of toxins.
Heart Health
Research shows infrared therapy improves blood vessel function, reduces blood pressure, and supports heart health, even for those with chronic conditions.
Ease Muscle Pain
The heat relaxes muscles, enhances flexibility, and supports recovery from injuries by improving tissue elasticity.

What Should I Wear in the Sauna?
In your personal sauna, the choice is yours! However, we recommend clean, breathable clothing like workout gear, cotton T-shirt and shorts, or swimwear for comfort and effectiveness. The Salt Cabin's Sauna has a glass front, so please dress appropriately.
Why Should I Pre-Hydrate Before a Sauna Session?
You’ll sweat a lot in an infrared sauna, so hydration is key. Drink 16–20 oz of water before your session to prevent dizziness and fatigue. Avoid sugary drinks; opt for water, electrolyte drinks, or coconut water to stay refreshed.
Can I Bring My Phone into a Sauna?
No. High heat and humidity can damage your phone, and we encourage you to unplug and enjoy the moment.
How Long Should I Stay in the Sauna for Detox?
Aim for 30-45 minutes per session, at least three times a week, to enhance your body’s natural detox processes. Sauna time helps improve circulation, boost your immune system, and can even give you a “runner's high.”
What to Avoid During Your Halo-IR Sauna Session
Cool Down & Rehydrate Post-Sauna
After your session, relax for 10–15 minutes to let your body cool. Rehydrate with plenty of fluids, and consider complementing your session with an Oxygen Bar or Hand & Foot Detox for added rejuvenation.
